Reasi, August 8: The body of an unidentified woman, believed to be between 20 and 25 years old, was recovered from the Salal Dam area of Reasi district on Saturday morning.

Following the recovery, personnel from SDRF Reasi, a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team and officials from Police Post Talwara reached the site and initiated the necessary procedures.

Police took the body into custody for completion of legal formalities and further investigation.

Authorities have launched efforts to establish the identity of the deceased and ascertain the circumstances surrounding her death. Further details are awaited as the investigation continues.
