Jammu, Feb 27: Pratik Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Northern Command, chaired the weekly security review meeting at the Joint Control Centre to assess the evolving security scenario in the region. The meeting was attended by senior officers and key stakeholders from various security and intelligence agencies.

During the deliberations, Lt Gen Sharma reviewed the prevailing security landscape and emphasized the need for heightened vigilance and seamless coordination among all agencies. Detailed discussions were held on streamlining the intelligence flow, enhancing real-time information sharing, and ensuring optimum utilisation of available resources to further strengthen the counter-terrorism framework.The Army Commander underscored the importance of sustained synergy between the Army and other security stakeholders to consolidate the counter-terrorism grid and maintain peace and stability in the region. He reiterated the commitment of the Indian Army towards safeguarding national security and ensuring a secure environment for the people.
