Ganderbal, August 23: A 9-year-old boy is feared drowned in Nallah Sindh opposite the Fire and Emergency Services Headquarters in Ganderbal on Sunday, officials said.
Soon after receiving information about the incident, the Emergency Rescue Boat of the Fire and Emergency Services Headquarters, along with its rescue crew, was deployed to the spot.
A search and rescue operation is currently underway to trace the missing child.
Officials said further details regarding the incident and the ongoing rescue efforts are awaited.
