New Delhi, August 23: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday called upon industry leaders and business stakeholders to invest in Jammu and Kashmir, saying that investment in the Union Territory would contribute to the future growth of India.
Addressing the World Wisdom Forum organised by the IIT Alumni Council in New Delhi, Sinha said India's path towards becoming a developed nation must combine technological advancement with human values, while ensuring inclusive and balanced development.
He said the country has achieved significant milestones over the past 12 years and stressed the need to prepare for the responsibilities associated with the vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047.
The Lieutenant Governor identified several key challenges, including creating a highly skilled workforce equipped with emerging technologies, promoting sustainable development, strengthening transparent institutions, ensuring balanced regional growth and positioning India as a global creator of technology and innovation.
