Srinagar, July 18: Following the recent reshuffle in the Information Department, Shabir Ahmad Bhat assumed charge as Field Publicity Officer (FPO), Kashmir, Parvaiz Ahmad Lone took over as Youth Information Officer, Kashmir, while Sajad Ahmed Shah assumed charge as District Information Officer (DIO), Shopian.

At the Joint Directorate of Information, Kashmir, Joint Director Information Syed Shahnawaz Bukhari, along with senior officers, welcomed the newly appointed FPO and Youth Information Officer. Both officers reviewed the functioning of their respective wings, interacted with staff and stressed teamwork, accountability and strengthened public outreach across Kashmir.

Meanwhile, the District Administration Shopian accorded a warm welcome to Sajad Ahmed Shah on assuming charge as DIO. Deputy Commissioner Shishir Gupta expressed confidence that Shah would further strengthen public communication and dissemination of government initiatives with dedication and professionalism.

Thanking the administration for the warm reception, Shah assured that he would work with sincerity to ensure timely and effective outreach of government programmes. Officials pledged full cooperation to the newly appointed officers in discharging their responsibilities.
