LG Sinha Says Gandhi’s Ideals Of Truth And Non-Violence Remain Relevant

Srinagar, October 2: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on Gandhi Jayanti, describing his principles of truth and non-violence as enduring guides for the nation.

Sinha attended a commemorative event organised by the School Education Department and the Department of Culture to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

In his message, the Lieutenant Governor said Gandhi’s ideals continue to offer guidance to society and the nation.

“Pujya Bapu’s ideals of truth and non-violence remain timeless guides for us,” Sinha said.

He also highlighted the rapid advancement of technology and stressed the need to ensure that technological progress remains focused on serving people and promoting inclusivity.

Sinha said Gandhi’s vision continues to inspire efforts towards building a developed India by 2047.

“Today, as rapid progress in technology reshapes our lives, let us ensure it serves humanity and inclusivity. Bapu’s vision inspires us to build a Developed India by 2047,” he said.
