July 28, 2026 | BK News Service

Agartala, July 27: An NCC Army Attachment Camp was organised by the Indian Army’s Red Shield Division under Spear Corps at Agartala Military Station, Tripura, providing 77 NCC cadets an immersive exposure to military life and training.

The 12-day camp aimed to familiarise cadets with the functioning, discipline and traditions of the Armed Forces through practical activities, military orientation sessions and interactions with serving soldiers.
During the camp, cadets participated in various training programmes designed to develop leadership qualities, teamwork, confidence and a sense of responsibility. They gained insights into the Army’s operational environment, daily routines and the values that guide soldiers in their service to the nation.
The interaction with Army personnel motivated the young cadets to adopt the principles of courage, commitment, discipline and selfless service. The exposure also encouraged them to explore career opportunities in the Armed Forces and contribute towards nation-building.
The initiative reflected the Indian Army’s continued efforts to connect with youth, nurture leadership qualities and inspire the next generation through meaningful engagement programmes.
