New Delhi, July 28: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced a 15 member squad for the upcoming two Test series against Sri Lanka, marking the return of veteran all rounder Ravindra Jadeja to the national side.

Jadeja, who makes his comeback after missing India's previous Test assignment, is expected to strengthen the team's spin attack and add valuable experience in the middle order.

The selectors have also handed a maiden Test call up to all rounder Saransh Jain, rewarding his consistent performances in domestic cricket. The inclusion of Jain is seen as part of India's continued effort to build bench strength and prepare a new generation of players for the longest format of the game.

The two match Test series in Sri Lanka will be India's next assignment in the ICC World Test Championship cycle. The squad features a blend of experienced campaigners and promising young talent as India look to begin the tour on a strong note.
